In June 2018, Blockway Ventures required a completely new logo and brand identity testing out different logo styles, colour theories and typography. Blockway Ventures wanted the brand to project an innovative, disruptive yet a professional image.

PitchHike is a Networking App. while you're on the move. It aims to connect people who are making the same journey as you. The client wanted the app. logo not just to encompass planes, but also trains and potentially other forms of transport, without focusing too much on a single method of transport in the logo. Something similar to FourSquare and LinkedIn combined.

The final logo with 5 drafts below gives you an idea of my creativity and thought process. I used the Titillium family font and a Hexagon shape to blend in with the company name. I also created several icons that were blended into the letters of the company name to represent what the PitchHike app. is about. I used a Map Pin icon to represent Transportation, a Flag icon to represent Destination and a Circulation of People icon to represent Global Networking.

Each icon is a symbolic stepping stone that is telling a story from planning your journey on the move (Map Pin icon) to reaching your destination (Flag icon) to finally, networking with others around the world and achieving your goal (People icon) within an organised network (Hexagon shape). The Hexagon shape has 6 equal angled sides, these could represent PitchHike's culture and 6 Values of the company, such as: Communication, Integration, Respect, Equality, Union and Honesty.

In March 2017, Central Manchester University Hospitals (NHS) Foundation Trust commissioned me to create a new logo to complement the rebrand for their Improving Quality Programme department within the CMFT (NHS) Foundation Trust.
